The Northfield Junior Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1969.  It is comprised of young adults between the age of 14 and 18.  The Junior Fire Company conducts its own meetings and drills as well as attending Fire Company drills.     

   Many of the Senior Fire Company's members began their volunteer careers as Junior Firefighters, including the chief, three lieutenants and about a dozen of our firefighters. 

   The Junior Fire Company has won the State of Connecticut Convention parade for the last 5 consecutive years!
